What Should I Expect Before My Headshot Session?
1. BEFORE WE START
We’ll begin with a short chat when you arrive so you can settle in and we can go through what you need your headshots for, whether that’s acting, business, LinkedIn or personal branding. This helps me tailor the session to you.
2. GUIDED THROUGH THE SESSION
You don’t need to worry about knowing what to do in front of the camera. I’ll guide you through everything, including posing, expressions and small adjustments to help you feel relaxed and look natural.
The focus is always on creating confident, authentic images that feel like you.
3. OUTFIT CHANGES AND VARIETY
If you’d like, we can include outfit changes during your session. This helps create a range of different looks so you have more variety to choose from in your final images.
4. STUDIO SETUP
All sessions take place in my home studio in Bedminster, Bristol, using clean, simple backdrops and flattering light. This keeps the focus entirely on you and your expression.
5. A RELAXED EXPERIENCE
The whole session is kept calm and unpressured. The aim is to make you feel comfortable so we can capture natural, professional headshots without anything feeling forced.
6. AFTER YOUR SESSION
You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can select your favourite images for professional retouching.

Sessions starting from just £130 which includes no less than 4 images sent over to you. Please let me know if you would like a specific backdrop colour. I usually use a light grey background to start.

No, although my studio controls the lighting in a specific way and offers space I also do on location headshot photoshoots where I can come to your office or an outside location of your choice. This works well if you're looking for a staff or team photoshoot in a working environment. This also creates a quick and convenient way to get the photographs taken. Locations I cover: Bristol, Bath and Salisbury.
What do I wear?
Wear something which represents you, fits well and what you feel comfortable in. I recommend bringing more than one item of clothing so you have a wider variety of images. Your whole attire should reflect who you are and what flatters you.
How long does a headshot photoshoot last?
A Bristol headshots photoshoot usually lasts between 30 to 45 minutes.
Is retouching included?
Yes! Retouching your images are 100% edited to the highest quality. Retouching includes any blemishes, softening the skin, reducing any wrinkles and shiny skin and removing any fly away hairs.
