Family Photoshoot Bristol

I love photographing families outdoors around Bristol, where there are so many beautiful backdrops to choose from. Some of my favourite spots include the wide open fields and woodland at Ashton Court, the riverside walks and greenery at Snuff Mills, the relaxed open spaces of Victoria Park, and the lively atmosphere along the Harbourside. Each location offers something unique, whether you’re after natural woodland, bright cityscapes, or a mix of both – perfect for creating relaxed, natural family photos.

Maternity Photoshoot Bristol

Maternity sessions are such a special way to capture the excitement of this new chapter. I offer these shoots in a few different settings to suit your style and comfort, whether that’s in my studio for a classic, timeless look, on location outdoors for something more natural and relaxed, or in the comfort of your own home for an intimate, personal feel.

My cosy home studio is a warm and relaxed space, perfect for creating timeless portraits. With a choice of clean, simple backdrops and flattering natural light, it’s ideal for families, children, couples, or individual portraits.

To confirm your booking, I’ll send across a booking form and deposit details. Once your deposit is paid, your date is secured in my diary. The rest of the balance is only after your session, giving you plenty of time to prepare. It’s a quick, straightforward process designed to make things stress-free for you.

Family Photoshoot Bristol - FAQs

Where do the family photoshoots take place?

Most of my family photoshoots take place outdoors in Bristol’s beautiful parks such as Ashton Court, Victoria Park or Snuff Mills — or we can use my home studio on Monmouth Street. You can also choose a mix of both studio and outdoor shots if you’d like a bit of variety.

What happens if it rains?

If you’ve booked an outdoor session and the weather isn’t looking good, we can either move the session into the studio or reschedule to another day that suits you. I always keep an eye on the forecast and will be in touch ahead of time if we need to adjust plans.

What should we wear for our family photoshoot?

As your Bristol family photographer, I recommend choosing outfits that complement each other without matching completely. Neutral tones, soft colours, and simple patterns photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos or bright neons, and bring layers if we’re shooting outdoors in Bristol.

When will our photos be ready?

Your edited gallery will be ready within around two weeks of your family photoshoot in Bristol. I’ll email you as soon as everything is ready to view and download.
